Our client is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation, delivering world-class clinical services from Australia's leading dedicated cancer trials facility. The organisation is recognised for advancing innovative therapies and maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance, safety and compliance.
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to provide senior clinical leadership across a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment based in Central Perth, Western Australia.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to an accomplished Nurse Manager from high-acuity, high-throughput areas such as Emergency Department (ED), Radiology, Oncology, Haematology, perioperative services, or other complex clinical settings.
Working within a service that supports patients living with cancer, this role offers the opportunity to lead a team delivering care to individuals navigating some of the most significant moments in their healthcare journey. It is a role that combines clinical excellence with compassion — contributing to services that directly support patients accessing advanced and potentially life‑changing therapies.
The successful candidate will bring strong operational oversight, confidence in escalation management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
This role balances strategic leadership with active clinical engagement — ideal for a leader who can both guide the bigger picture and step in when required to support safe, efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational leadership across clinical services, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient workflow.
Lead and support Senior Nurses and functional leads, ensuring clear escalation pathways and strong accountability frameworks.
Strengthen clinical governance, risk management and quality systems to maintain inspection‑ready standards.
Oversee integration across clinical, laboratory and compliance functions to ensure consistent standards and seamless operations.
Promote adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and best‑practice standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support service growth, complexity and volume.
Foster a positive, accountable and high‑performing team culture.
