The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced FP&A or commercial finance leader to step into a senior leadership role with one of Victoriaโs largest and fastest-growing healthcare organisations.
With a strong commitment to patient care, community outcomes and sustainability, this healthcare organisation is expanding its finance leadership capability to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. This role leads critical functions including budgeting, clinical costing, capital planning, sustainability, and performance analysis, ensuring long-term financial sustainability across a complex, multi-site health service.
Reporting and working closely with the executive leadership, this role is instrumental in driving actionable financial insights and establishing best-in-class planning frameworks fit for the scale and future direction of the organisation.

The Role
Key responsibilities include :
Establish and lead the sustainability and budgeting function across the group
Design and implement corporate reporting processes and performance frameworks
Act as the principal finance business partner to the CEO, Executive Team, Board and external agencies
Drive enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and clinical costing processes
Provide meaningful analysis of financial performance, outlooks and key drivers to guide decision-making
Lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of strategic thinking, trust, and innovation
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following :
CA / CPA qualification with 7+ yearsโ experience in FP&A, business strategy, or commercial finance
Experience working within complex organisations - ideally in healthcare within multi-site environments
Proven leadership in managing complex budgeting and performance processes
Strong analytical, financial modelling and business case review capabilities
Ability to communicate and influence at senior executive and Board level
Experience with clinical costing, capital planning or sustainability initiatives (highly regarded)
Passion for making a tangible impact in the health sector
