Senior Mortgage Broker / Home Finance Lead

Responsibilities

The Opportunity As Home Finance Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing RAC’s mortgage broking capability. You’ll work directly with members on significant financial decisions, while also setting the standards, frameworks and networks that underpin a high‑performing business. This role blends

hands‑on broking ,

relationship building , and

specialised knowledge , giving you the chance to influence both outcomes and strategy from day one. Guide members

through their home ownership journey by understanding their current financial position, long‑term goals and complex needs, and recommending tailored home finance solutions. Manage and grow a portfolio,

delivering trusted advice

and

exceptional member experiences. Build and nurture referral networks

to create a strong, sustainable sales pipeline and exceed performance targets. Provide

training and mentoring

to Home Finance Consultants and Specialists, ensuring consistency, capability uplift and a premium member experience. Play a key role in the

design, development and continuous improvement

of processes and procedures as the Home Finance business evolves. Ensure lending recommendations align with responsible lending obligations and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

What You’ll Bring Certificate

IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Diploma of Financial Services. 5+ years’ experience

in mortgage broking, home finance lending or a related financial services role. Strong expertise in complex loan structures , including high‑value and non‑standard lending. Proven experience managing portfolios

and working with high‑net‑worth clients. Sound understanding of responsible lending and regulatory compliance. ASIC Finance Broker licence (preferred but not essential). A collaborative, commercially minded approach with the confidence to lead and influence. What RAC Can Offer You
