The Sustainable Futures team has a long history and strong reputation delivering high quality and innovative MEL consulting services in the sustainable agriculture, Natural Resource Management (NRM), climate change and related sectors across Australia. Our clients include government departments and agencies, non-government organisations, research development corporations and research institutes. We are currently searching for two passionate individuals to join our Sustainable Futures team - a Principal Consultant and a Senior Consultant with expertise in these sectors. Location:

Melbourne CBD or remote Key responsibilities for a Principal Consultant include: Leading complex MEL projects, including designing and delivering evaluation studies using mixed-methods, and facilitating participatory MEL-design processes. Leading small project teams of MEL practitioners to deliver high-quality services that meet client needs and expectations, while maintaining strong client relationships and meeting project budgets. Engaging in business development activities to build and sustain profitable business relationships, including developing proposals, exploring partnership opportunities, attending events, networking, and staying informed about sector developments to keep Clear Horizon at the forefront of innovations in the sector. Key responsibilities for Senior Consultants include: Leading small-medium MEL projects, and supporting Principal Consultants to deliver complex MEL projects, including evaluation studies using mixed-methods and participatory MEL-design processes. Project management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive project management and client communications, building an understanding of client needs and delivering outcomes that meet or exceed their requirements. While both roles share similar core responsibilities, Principal Consultants require more professional MEL experience.
