About the Opportunity

The Finance Lead role is an exciting new role in a growing business which will focus on the commercial finance aspects of the Tyree Cable operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Lead key responsibilities include: In consultation with senior managers monitor relevant business financial metrics on a regular basis including margin and cash flow Development of the business unit budget in consultation with the Financial Controller Coordination with the Financial Controller on monthly reporting and forecasting Perform regular accounting reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records Assist with payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments The management of commercial considerations for the business unit including pricing and customer contractual obligations Assist with preparations for internal and external audits Conduct regular product costing reviews to ensure ERP data is correct and current Lead the management of finished goods inventory in consultation with sales and operations Active participation in the invoicing and accounts receivable processes to ensure consistent practices and the enforcement of commercial terms Qualifications and attributes for success

Proven experience in finance/accounting in a manufacturing organisation Experience in the management of complex commercial arrangements and pricing Strong interest in foreign exchange and commodity prices Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments. A bachelor’s degree in finance/business with a major in accounting is required A CPA or CA accreditation is highly desirable Why Join Us
