Senior InterSystems Integration Developer - Digital Health

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior InterSystems Integration Developer to design, develop, and deliver complex digital health integrations and mission‑critical interoperability solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, translating user and organisational requirements into well‑structured, scalable, and reliable data and integration workflows that support improvements in clinical data exchange, system interoperability, and digital health capabilities across a large enterprise environment.

up to $190K (inc super), depending on experience

Essential Skills & Experience

Significant professional experience with InterSystems IRIS or IRIS for Health, especially in modern integration or API‑driven environments.

Proficiency with InterSystems HealthShare Health Connect (previously known as Intersystems Ensemble) across interoperability, productions, business processes, and data transformations.

Experience developing with InterSystems technologies in large, enterprise‑scale environments.

Demonstrated experience delivering InterSystems solutions within the Australian digital health ecosystem.

Strong knowledge of HL7; experience with FHIR is preferred, but not essential.

Prior experience building or maintaining large‑scale, real‑time clinical data integrations across multiple disparate systems.

Background in object‑oriented programming (OOP).

Strong capability in solution design, information structure, and workflow modelling within an integration context.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in environments requiring high reliability, robust data quality, and adherence to healthcare interoperability standards.

Licensing & Eligibility All applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (PR) with the intention of gaining citizenship in the near future.
