Consultant Psychiatrist - Telehealth

Zed3 Medical Group is a multi-disciplinary mental health organization physically located in Canberra (and nationally via telehealth) providing services across Psychiatry, Psychology and Paediatrics. Our clinical work is predominantly trauma-focused, serving a variety of patients across the Australian Defence Force, Australian Federal Police, Veteran and Civilian communities.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Consultant Psychiatrists who reside on the east coast of Australia, to contract with us at Zed3 Veteran Services conducting initial assessments via telehealth for the Veteran and Defence Community. These one-off assessments provide our current serving Defence Personnel and Veterans with access to an Initial Psychiatric Assessment with minimal lead times. This assessment provides them with initial diagnoses and initial treatment recommendations to be administered by their treating GP.

There is no ongoing case load associated with this work. This is an opportunity for interested Psychiatrists to develop a deeper understanding of a priority population who are often neglected and misunderstood in the medical landscape.

Pre-commencement training will be provided by our Chief Medical Officer and Veteran Service National Manager.
