Senior and Principal Human Factors Consultants At HF Integration, we believe Human Factors is vital to the design of safety critical systems.

We aim to deliver the best human factors advice to our clients in the mining, energy and transport sectors, helping them to make their systems error tolerant and user friendly.

Our clients include some of the biggest companies and infrastructure projects across Australia and Asia, and our work takes us to some fascinating places - to remote mine sites, offshore gas platforms, rolling stock manufacturing plants, fast-growing cities, and modern control centres.

We have projects in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Hong Kong, and we’re looking for enthusiastic

Senior and Principal Human Factors Specialists

to support ongoing projects and to facilitate continued growth of the company.

Projects Some of the projects you could end up working on include:

Rolling stock development projects across the Middle East and Asia

Major railway signaling infrastructure upgrades across Australia

New station developments in Hong Kong

Automation of rail and road haulage systems

About you We’re looking for individuals who take a human-centred approach to solving big problems, and who can bring dynamic excellence to a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Successful candidates should also have a Degree or Masters qualification in human factors or ergonomics, and should also be able to demonstrate:

Practical experience in the rail and energy sector

Proven track record of taking ownership and driving projects to completion

Ability to recognise and define complex problems,

Analytical and strategic thinking together with great communication and organisational skills

Experience in applying human factors principles within hazardous industries, particularly energy, mining and transport;

The ability to work within a small team or independently to provide expert consultancy services to clients within deadlines;

Willingness to travel to global client sites ;

Proficiency in safety critical task analysis, human-machine interface design, error analysis, and human factors integration in major projects.
