SCL4 - $146,998 – $157,135 per year + 12% super.

The Role
The Industry Regulation and Consumer Protection Legal Division is responsible for providing legal advice to Departmental clients that is accurate, timely and solution focused.
Conducting complex criminal prosecutions, civil litigation and disciplinary proceedings in all courts and the State Administrative Tribunal on behalf of the Department, statutory office holders and external boards supported by the Department.
Providing high quality, relevant and timely written legal advice on a broad range of complex matters.
Preparing a variety of complex legal documents.
Mentoring and coaching of less experienced members of the team.
Qualifications & Licenses
Degree in law.
Current Australian practising certificate that enables the holder to engage in legal practice as a government legal practitioner or eligible to obtain one prior to commencement of employment.
