The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this Finance Business Partner role provides strategic support to leaders, primarily focusing on thethegforcebusiness in Geelong, with future opportunities to further support the broader MEGT Group.
MEGT (Australia) Ltd merged withthegforceemployment+recruitment on the1stof July 2025. In this newly created MEGT role,you’ll be based in Geelong and partner closely with thethegforceCEO and senior leaders to translate strategy into operationalactions, andassess thefinancial impactof service or product changes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver monthly management packs with variance analysis, risks and opportunities
Support Board reporting through performance analysis and commentary
Lead driver‑based budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis
Own KPI frameworks, dashboards and benefits realisation tracking
Provide hands‑on financial management including accruals and reconciliations
Build and review business cases and proactively investigate budget variances
Model the financial impact of service, product or business model changes
About you
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing outcomes. You’re confident working with senior leaders and thrive in a purpose‑driven environment.
You will bring:
CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience in planning, forecasting, modelling and financial analysis
Strong accounting and month‑end discipline, including reconciliations and controls
Ability to validate and reconcile data between ERP and BI systems
Strong ERP/EPM capability (e.g. SAP, TechOne, Dynamics, NetSuite)
High commercial acumen and understanding of financial and operational drivers
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
