An industry leading building technologies organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Technology to drive strategic growth, commercial performance, and operational excellence across a high-performing Technology Division.

What’s in it for you: Full ownership of Technology division:

Lead the strategic, commercial, and operational performance of a major technology function, overseeing both a $15M+ Projects P&L and an additional $5M+ Service P&L.

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for building capability, improving service delivery, driving innovation, and strengthening customer engagement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Commercial Leadership.

Develop and execute the Technology Strategic plan aligned to business objectives.

Full ownership of the Technology Division P&L, including revenue, GM, forecasting and labour productivity.

Drive strong OPEX control and financial discipline across the division.

Build and maintain a high-performing sales pipeline across both projects and service.

Operational Excellence, People and Culture leadership etc.

Oversee technology projects and service contracts, ensuring consistently high delivery standards.

Lead monthly performance reviews with project and service leaders.

Build a high-performing, multidisciplinary team across construction, service, and technology sales.

Drive succession planning, capability development and long-term workforce planning.

Maintain a culture of accountability, innovation and collaboration.

Provide strong communication to ensure clarity on priorities, decisions, and performance expectations.

Customer & Business Development

Strengthen strategic relationships to drive year-on-year revenue growth.

Identify new market opportunities to expand technology and service offerings.

Support sales initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders to grow market share.

Provide senior-level technical guidance across BMS, automation, IT infrastructure, electrical integration and IoT solutions.

What You Bring:

10+ years’ senior leadership experience in building technologies, automation, or building services.

Deep technical understanding of BMS, controls, and networked building systems.

Proven success managing large P&Ls - ideally $20M+.

Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing revenue and margins.

Experience leading large project and service portfolios within the building technology sector.

Capability to lead change, build high-performing teams, and mentor leaders.

Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
