About the role
The Governance & Improvement work group focuses on providing systems and processes to ensure consistent, evidence-based best practices. The Governance & Improvement Quality Partner supports the Lead, and Assistant Director in informing improvements to ensure the effective delivery, development, and evaluation of systems and processes that support patient care.
The Governance & Improvement work group is one of three work groups within the Quality Unit, alongside Safe Systems & Performance and Consumer Partnership & Experience. Together, we work to ensure the provision of Safe, Effective, Connected, and Personal care every day, for every patient, every time.
Key Responsibilities
Possess excellent knowledge of internal and external frameworks that support Quality
Have a solid understanding of the committee structure and functions at GH
Understand the requirements of standards relevant to GH
Actively promote and support the GH audit schedule
Conduct audits, collate, and analyse data, and provide infographics and other reports as needed to local areas, Operational, and Governance Committees
Assist clinical and corporate areas with Quality Activities
Educate and support GH staff in effectively using electronic tools, such as RiskMan, GH Auditing Platform, and SharePoint
Collaborate with GH staff and consumers
Gap Analyses
Facilitation of Practice Improvement groups
Accreditation support /lead as delegated
Skills & Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Quality Management
Strong attention to detail
Skilled data analysis and trend identification
Skilled in reporting
Mentoring of junior and or new team members
Curious thinking
Contribute idea to the direction of the work group
Highly motivated
Team player but able to work autonomously
