Reporting to the Manager, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) for Newmont's Tanami Mine Operations in the position of Lead, Facilities Management you will plan and execute site accommodation village infrastructure, catering, janitorial requirements, site access, transport and logistics services and provide leadership to a small team of direct reports in service delivery excellence. Be responsible for compliance to Newmont standards and objectives and regulatory requirements for all related NPI activities Ensure employee and community for a safe, healthy and positive experience are met and/or exceeded Propose and deploy activities that maximise cost-effective management of assets within budget and in collaboration with site, leadership and community stakeholders Conduct regular in-field monitoring, assessment and review of contractor and vendor performance and maintain relevant records - i.e. inspection, observation and auditing reports Identify and address risks associated with allocation of site/accommodation village access and escape as needed Provide visible safety leadership and commit to a positive workplace culture Mentor, support and guide a small team of direct reports. Prerequisites for your success in the role

Degree qualification in Business, Logistics, Facilities Management or related Extensive NPI-related mining industry exposure - i.e. site village accommodation and facilities maintenance, transport and logistics management, workforce mobilisation scheduling Previous hospitality industry experience with understanding of food safety requirements Skills in supplier and vendor contract management including budgeting and reporting Sound knowledge of mining industry safety, environmental and health standards and regulatory frameworks Proficient skills in MS Office and SAP software Full and unrestricted eligibility for employment in Australia. Newmont has fully owned and operated the Tanami mine since 2002. The mine operates in the remote Tanami Desert of Australia. The mine and plant are located on Aboriginal freehold land that is owned by the Warlpiri people and managed on their behalf by the Central Desert Aboriginal Lands Trust. Tanami is a fly-in-fly-out operation in one of Australia's most remote locations. Tanami is 270 km from its closest neighbours, the remote Aboriginal community of Yuendumu. This permanent position will be based on-site at the Tanami Mine Operation in the remote Northern Territory working on an 8:6 fly in, fly out roster from Perth, Darwin, Brisbane or Alice Springs.
