THE OPPORTUNITY This is an opportunity for a driven and capable intermediate litigation lawyer to take a meaningful step forward in their career within a highly regarded commercial litigation practice.

We are seeking a lawyer with 2+ years post‑admission experience who is ready to deepen their technical expertise, take ownership of matters, and build trusted client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who values autonomy, intellectual challenge, and the chance to work alongside experienced litigators in a genuinely collaborative environment.

Redchip’s litigation team is known for its strategic, commercial approach and strong internal culture. You will be supported to run matters independently while having access to senior guidance and a team that is invested in your success.

You will gain exposure to a diverse and high‑quality mix of work, including commercial disputes, estate litigation, building and construction disputes, insolvency matters and strata disputes.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED We are looking for a confident, professional lawyer who takes pride in delivering excellent outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Sound working knowledge of the UCPR and associated legislation

Experience running litigation matters across the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts, and exposure to the Federal Court of Australia

A strong commercial and client‑focused mindset

The ability to manage files autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team

Initiative, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in developing your practice

A willingness to continually refine your skills and take on increasing responsibility
