Key Job Responsibilities
Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.
Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject‑matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
A Day in the Life
A typical day might include meeting with technical product managers at AWS or with partners, collaborating to build and test demonstrations and proofs of concept, writing technical content such as blog posts and papers, staying abreast of technical news, and hands‑on work with AWS every day.

About The Team
This position is part of the Amazon Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. The WWSO APJ CXE Specialist Solution Architecture team develops Contact Centre architectures and solutions using Amazon Connect for our customers. Specialist SAs capture customer feedback, advocate for roadmap enhancements, and anticipate customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of design, implementation, operations, or consulting with distributed applications experience.
5+ years managing technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources or equivalent experience.
4+ years of contact center experience, or experience in web technologies and the internet.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in software development or working with customers, along with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, and/or PHP).
Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large‑scale technology projects for global customers.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Experience in enterprise software.
Experience presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations.
Effective communication of complex concepts through written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of project management tools and software.
Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) or a similar cloud certification, or Bachelor’s degree.
4+ years of relevant technical position experience, or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
