R4544At ALS, we encourage you to dream big.When you join us, you’ll be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data-driven insights to build a healthier future.**The Role**Reporting to the HR Director – APAC, this newly created position of Head of HR Services will lead and evolve core HR services and capabilities across the region, during an exciting period of transformation and growth. This position will suit someone looking to join a progressive large global organisation, with endless opportunities for growth and very real impact at local, regional and global levels.

You will be set up for success within a supportive and dynamic HR leadership team, and provide services to a diverse group of stakeholders within a and values-driven organisation. There will be many opportunities to showcase your change leadership passion and expertise, while playing a key role in building capabilities for the future, and contributing to our Workday implementation journey (Phase 1 complete, and currently at testing stage in Phase 2 countries).**The day to day**You will work closely with HR and business stakeholders to lead best practice and continuous improvement across the following key focus areas:**Leadership & Service Delivery*** Lead a respected and supportive team through the next stage of HR evolution as we embed Workday and broaden our impact in new and different ways.* Improve and align core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring high quality service delivery.* Get hands-on with HR and payroll teams to ‘*think global, act local’* and remove any barriers to them thriving.* Build strong internal and external relationships and collaborate across boundaries for the benefit of OneALS.**Total Rewards & Employee Experience*** Partner with our remuneration COE to improve total rewards at ALS. Lead remuneration cycles, benchmarking, and HR reporting activities.* Ensure employee experience, rewards and benefits practices are fair, consistent and aligned to business enablement. Connect with external partners and suppliers, driving benefits for employees and value for the business.**People Insights & Technology*** Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of HR systems (Workday) and leverage emerging technologies.* Champion data quality and build trusted analytics, to enable insight‐driven ways of working.**The Essentials**A variety of skills and strengths could be leveraged for success in this role, however you are likely to bring:* Significant experience leading and evolving HR operations/shared services or total rewards, ideally with regional or multi‐site exposure.* Strong knowledge of Australian HR compliance and employment frameworks. Exposure to employee lifecycle activities in NZ/Asia would be highly regarded.* Strong skills and interest in remuneration related activities and analytics, with experience developing and leveraging workforce metrics and contributing to Board and compliance reports.* Experience optimising HR systems and experimenting with AI capabilities to drive value.* Experience in change leadership, with a collaborative style and can-do attitude.* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build working relationships with people from all walks of life.* A mindset oriented toward service delivery and continuous improvement (non-negotiable!).**Working at ALS**The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.At ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
