We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Retail Operations to lead and drive the performance of our six supermarket locations. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone passionate about retail, people, and operational excellence.

You’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, lead and develop store management teams, and ensure that our stores deliver the best in customer service, efficiency, and profitability—all while maintaining the family values that make our business unique.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction across all stores.

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, sales, and customer satisfaction.

Lead, mentor, and motivate store managers to achieve KPIs and uphold company values.

Oversee budgets, financial performance, and reporting across the group.

Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and food safety standards.

Drive continuous improvement in store presentation, product quality, and customer experience.

Liaise with suppliers, partners, and the leadership team to support business growth initiatives.

About You You are a commercially minded retail leader with a proven record of managing multi‑site operations—ideally in supermarkets or FMCG. You combine strategic thinking with a practical, people‑first approach.

Key Attributes

At least 5–10 years of progressive experience in retail management, with multi‑site oversight preferred.

Strong financial acumen and operational planning skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

A passion for community engagement and delivering outstanding customer service.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
