ABOUT THIS EPIC OPPORTUNITY Epic are looking for a Principal Ecologist with strong flora expertise to help drive our Queensland based ecology projects.

You would be responsible for leading and delivering complex ecological assessments, designing and implementing targeted flora survey programs and preparing technical reports, impact assessments and offset strategies.

Ideally you will have a passion for mentoring junior ecologists and contributing to business development and project strategies.

WHAT MAKES YOU EPIC To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science or related field

10+ years experience in consulting within a strong flora focused role

In-depth knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth ecological legislation

Demonstrated experience leading field surveys and delivering quality reports
