The Role
This is a senior finance leadership role responsible for the
end-to-end financial operations and strategic direction
of the ANZ business.
You will lead the finance function across all core areas including
financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax, treasury, payroll, audits, cash flow, forecasting, commissions, and budgeting .
This role has a strong
commercial and stakeholder-facing focus , working with executive leaders, operational teams, franchise stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and offshore finance teams. You'll play a key role in shaping profitability initiatives, supporting revenue management strategies, and enabling data-driven decisionโmaking through realโtime reporting and predictive analytics.
From a leadership perspective, you will be responsible for:
Building a high-performance finance team
Driving succession planning and talent development
Lifting financial acumen across the broader leadership group
Leading continuous improvement, automation, and digital finance transformation
This is a
true "director-level" role
with strategic influence, operational ownership, and significant leadership scope.
Your Profile
ou are a commercially driven, technically strong finance leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You enjoy balancing
hands-on financial leadership with strategic influence at the executive level .
You will bring:
CPA or CA qualification
with
at least 5 years' post-qualification experience
Strong
technical accounting, tax, and compliance capability
Demonstrated success
leading, mentoring, and developing finance teams
Experience managing
audits, statutory reporting, and external stakeholders
High attention to detail, combined with
commercial mindset and strategic thinking
Confidence communicating complex financial information to
non-finance leaders
A proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
A continuousโimprovement mindset - always asking "How can this be done better?"
