Senior .NET Developer (6-Month Contract) Contract:

About the Role We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join a small, high-energy team working on core backend systems. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll make an immediate impact, improving workflows, streamlining processes, and helping modernise systems that directly affect the business every day.

You’ll work mostly on backend systems (80%), but should be comfortable touching the frontend when needed. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-moving, high‑impact work and can deliver carefully considered solutions in a live production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Optimising and maintaining C# / .NET systems

Improving database performance and tuning SQL queries

Streamlining workflows and internal processes

Working with third‑party integrations, web services, and cloud environments

Reducing technical and operational debt, making systems easier to use for staff

Preparing systems for future scale and potential regulatory changes

Must‑Have Skills

Solid SQL knowledge with performance tuning experience

Experience working with limited or no test coverage

Confident in making changes in production systems responsibly

Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms

Comfortable working in a Windows server environment

Nice-to-Have

Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems

Background in regulated or compliance‑aware environments

Experience with web services, integrations, or callbacks
