EOI - Technical Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Network Security to join our Managed Security Engineering team. This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, leading technical outcomes, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers.

You’ll be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise‑grade network security solutions, while also mentoring engineers and contributing to continuous improvement across the practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide expert‑level (Level 4) support across network security platforms including Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Netskope

Lead complex incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Design and implement secure network architectures aligned to industry best practices

Deliver advanced configuration, optimisation, and performance tuning

Conduct security assessments and provide risk mitigation recommendations

Automate and improve operational workflows using DevOps‑aligned practices

Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers in consulting‑style engagements

Mentor and coach engineers, lifting capability across the team

Ensure adherence to ITIL‑aligned incident, change, and problem management processes

What we’re looking for

6+ years’ experience in security engineering or operations, ideally within an MSP or complex enterprise environment

Proven experience as a Senior Engineer and/or Technical Lead

Strong client‑facing and consulting experience

Deep hands‑on experience with:

Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, HA, VPNs, SD‑WAN, Threat Protection)

Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect, WildFire)

Netskope (SWG, CASB, Zero Trust, DLP)

Experience integrating security platforms with SIEM solutions

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Qualifications (desirable)

Tertiary qualification in IT, Cyber Security, or a related discipline

Relevant vendor certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE, PCNSE, Netskope)

ITIL Foundation certification
