Job Description
Senior Registered Migration Agent / Lawyer – Part Time or Full Time - Condor Migration
About Us
We’re a well‑established migration practice (8+ years) with a small, close‑knit team of 7. Most of us work remotely by choice, but we also have offices in Brisbane and the Gold Coast if you prefer a mix.
We’re now looking for a senior migration agent or lawyer to join us with genuine flexibility.
The Role
This is a hands‑on, senior role suited to someone who can confidently run matters end‑to‑end with little to no supervision. You’ll manage a varied caseload, including but not limited to:
Skills assessments
Skilled visas
Employer‑sponsored visas
You’ll work largely independently, but with 2 other senior agents/lawyers available to bounce ideas off when needed.
You won’t be expected to generate your own clients, and you’ll be backed by strong administrative support—so you can spend your time doing the legal work.
About you
You will:
Hold OMARA registration or an unrestricted Australian practising certificate
Have at least 3 years’ full‑time experience in migration law (more is welcome)
Be confident managing files autonomously, including strategy, advice, lodgement and follow‑through
Be organised, responsive, and comfortable working without hand‑holding
Enjoy working with clients you actually want to help
How we work
We’re intentional about the work we take on. We:
Only accept cases where we genuinely believe in the prospects of success
Decline matters that fall outside our expertise or raise concerns during the pre‑engagement stage
Rely almost entirely on referrals, because we do good work and we’re responsive within working hours
We also take flexibility seriously:
No overtime – expectations you’re paid for the hours you actually work
Flexible days per week and start / finish times
Tell us what hours suit you (25+ hours per week)
Remuneration
6‑figure full‑time equivalent salary, pro‑rated for part‑time
And, for what it’s worth — our staff enjoy working here so much that we’ve never had anyone leave (touch wood).
How to Apply:
Please email your resume along with a short cover note outlining:
Your preferred hours per week
Your salary expectations
If you’d like to work from one of our offices or rather from home / a coworking space
Your preferred starting date
Any 2026 annual leave you’ve already got earmarked
What sort of caseload you are used to managing
If you’re a senior practitioner looking for flexibility, autonomy, and a genuinely supportive environment without the usual pressure points or corporate red tape, we’d love to hear from you.
