We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering complex client-facing IT projects across infrastructure, cloud, and modern workplace environments.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level engineer who thrives on ownership, technical delivery, and working across a wide variety of enterprise technology projects.

The Opportunity You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, documented thoroughly, and communicated clearly to both technical teams and stakeholders. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for successfully delivering end-to-end technology projects (Core business application migrations, Microsoft 365 and cloud migrations, Azure directory implementations etc).

Key Responsibilities

Complete assigned project tasks within agreed timeframes and quality standards

Assist with project scoping activities and reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs)

Provide regular progress updates to project and service leadership teams

Maintain detailed documentation throughout all project phases

Act as a technical escalation point for project-related tasks via the Service Desk

Ensure exceptional customer service and communication from project initiation through to completion

Take ownership of project outcomes and contribute to achieving team KPIs

About You To be successful, you will bring strong technical expertise across Microsoft and infrastructure environments, along with proven project delivery experience. We are looking for a team player with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Essential Experience

7+ years’ experience in IT engineering or project delivery roles

Strong knowledge of Microsoft server technologies (AD, SQL, Exchange, Certificate Authorities)

Experience implementing and supporting Azure solutions, including: Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SharePoint

Virtualisation experience across platforms such as - VMware, Hyper‑V, AHV, KVM

Windows Server administration (2008–2016+)

Desirable Experience

Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment

Mentoring or leadership exposure

Networking fundamentals and firewall/security technologies (CCNA, Sophos, Fortinet, Aruba, WatchGuard)

Understanding of ITIL service delivery practices

Familiarity with tools such as ConnectWise Manage

Backup technologies (e.g., Veeam)

Reporting/dashboard exposure (BrightGauge and/or Power BI)
