Your New Role
Reporting to the Head of Technology Services, the Head of Fund Platforms is a member of the Technology Services leadership team and is instrumental in leading the transition of the Fund platforms to enable the Strategic Technology Roadmap and realise the Funds ambitions for 2035. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust, efficient, and innovative platform management across investment, enterprise, and risk domains. With global responsibility, the position demands close collaboration with the Head of Investment Platforms in the UK, and leadership of Enterprise Platforms capability, supporting Colleagues and Culture, Finance, and corporate teams, and the Risk Platforms capability to enable the risk management functions across the Fund.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee delivery, support, and continuous improvement of Investment Platforms to enable the Australian Investment colleagues, ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.
Collaborate closely with the UK Head of Investment Platforms to drive consistent platform strategies, share best practices, and leverage global synergies.
Monitor platform performance, proactively address issues, and ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
Lead the delivery, change, and operational support of Enterprise and Risk Platforms, encompassing solutions for Colleagues and Culture, Finance, and corporate functions.
Facilitate change management initiatives, supporting the adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies (such as AI and PowerAutomate).
Deliver to the team's annual budget and business plan.
Ensure platforms meet evolving organisational needs, support business processes, and deliver value to internal stakeholders.
Ensure robust incident and problem management processes, including timely escalation, resolution, and root cause analysis are dealt with effectively.
What You'll Need
Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise platform strategies and deliver complex technology solutions in global organisations.
Proven experience driving technology innovation and transformation, including adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions.
Extensive experience (10+ years) in senior IT, digital, or data leadership roles, with a strong track record in platform management, delivery, and support within complex enterprise environments.
Global experience in Financial Services, ideally superannuation, pension, or wealth management, with exposure to diverse teams and cultures.
Demonstrated success in leading Agile transformation, managing global teams, and driving change in fast-paced environments.
Deep understanding of enterprise platforms, risk solutions, and GRC (RSA Archer and Oracle preferred), plus working knowledge of core investment systems or willingness to learn.
Strong capability in risk management, incident resolution, and operational excellence, combined with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement and member-centric outcomes.
