Senior Structural Engineer

The role and your career This is an established Melbourne forensics team of thirteen staff, with extensive work in Melbourne, Queensland and New South Wales. We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer or Mid-Level Structural Design Engineer, with remedial experience, who can manage their own time.

About Us Our small, energetic group enjoy working collaboratively with our clients and consultant partners to achieve excellent project outcomes.

You’ll have agency to run your own, varied work, liaising directly with clients (mostly insurers). There’s a sense of responsibility here and a really supportive team culture, even though you'll mostly be working from home or in the field, solo.

The detail

1-2 days site work (car provided for these days).

Projects across south Queensland – will require travel from time to time.

Mature work environment with a flat structure.

Salary: to suit experience. Likely between $90k and $120k p/a plus Super.

About you You’ll have worked as a Structural Engineer before, in a design team. You’ll know how the average day runs. Here, it's slightly different as there is more site based work and more report writing.

You’ll have experience

writing engineering reports

and an interest in remedial / insurance projects.

Self-starter mentality key. You'll often be solo, with support on Teams and the phone on call.
