About the role:
As the Tertiary Engagement Manager, you will lead the Tertiary Engagement Strategy. The role is focused on engaging with faculty staff and university students to grow the Engineers Australia student membership numbers. The role is responsible for all on campus student engagement and brand building activity such as O’Week activation, presentations during all degree stages, managing student ambassadors and student societies, and supporting local Young Engineers Australia groups and Division staff to host events and activities that help EA acquire and retain young members. This role is a 0.6 FTE (3 days per week).

This role is based in Perth, WA.
In this role you will:
Identify and expand Engineers Australia’s profile with new and existing tertiary stakeholders.
Develop key relationships and strengthen existing partnerships.
Lead operational activities relating to student membership growth and student to graduate conversion (Grad0) in your portfolio.
Deliver on all aspects of membership operations relating to student membership recruitment and graduate conversion (Grad0).
Administrate and coordinate membership presentations, events and campaigns in accordance with marketing guidelines.
Conduct face to face and virtual presentations on membership value proposition to key stakeholders.
Participate and support EA’s Division events as required.
Contribute to and promote the development of the profession through active participation in the community.
Record and maintain key activities and contacts within Salesforce.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Professional degree or related qualification.
Demonstrated experience developing stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge of Tertiary education systems.
Committed team player with excellent collaboration, interpersonal and team skills.
Commitment to achieving quality outcomes in work performance and results.
Initiative and ability to perform work autonomously.
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
Capability to work with a range of IT systems, including Salesforce CRM, video conferencing and the Office suite.
