Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

practice helps clients achieve their growth ambitions by providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, debt and capital raisings and financial modelling. We are looking for an experienced

Senior Manager

with a passion for client service excellence to deliver pragmatic M&A solutions to a varied client base as part of our Sydney team, building trust and guiding them through a crucial time in their business’ journey. The members of this close-knit, friendly team bring diverse perspectives and global expertise. There is genuine flexibility and a flat organisational structure, led by Partners who are passionate about supporting you to grow, learn, and thrive as an established M&A specialist. Key responsibilities Provide strategic advice to clients from a range of industries on acquisitions, divestments, private equity transactions and strategic capital raisings

Prepare financial models and valuation materials

Manage the transaction process from the initial client discussions to completion

Active participation in business development activities, including preparation of proposals, building relationships with existing and target clients and intermediaries, and establishing professional networks

Skills and experience Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)

Minimum of five years’ mergers and acquisitions experience gained in a professional services environment

Commercial acumen including strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills

Problem-solving skills, approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindset

Effective written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to manage a high-performing team and build positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders at all levels

Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge or interest in learning data visualisation tools
