Senior Mechanical Engineer

to join our Perth team. In this role, you will lead the delivery of technically robust mechanical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, spanning design, optimisation and upgrades. You will act as a technical expert within multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership through concept development, detailed design, engineering review, and project execution. Your ability to solve complex engineering challenges, manage stakeholders, and drive high‑quality project outcomes will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities

Deliver mechanical design packages: calculations, reports, specifications, drawing inputs Design and review equipment and systems for mining and heavy industrial environments Ensure compliance with relevant standards, client specifications and statutory requirements Coordinate interfaces across SMP, Structural, Electrical and Design/Drafting teams Conduct design reviews, checking and verification prior to issue Provide construction support: RFIs, site queries and design clarifications Identify risks early and drive practical, constructable solution Skills & Experience (Essential)

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) 8+ years’ mechanical engineering experience in mining/heavy industrial projects Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and documentation Confident communicator with proven multi‑discipline coordination experience Strong focus on safety in design and quality deliverables Experience with common mechanical design/analysis tools (as applicable to the role) Chartered status (CPEng / NER) or working toward (desirable) Site experience supporting construction and commissioning (desirable) What We Offer
