About the Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading, developing, and executing the regional sales strategy, driving performance through a team of high‑performing Enterprise Account Executives.
This will begin as a remote role based in Victoria, with a preference for candidates located in Melbourne.
What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on driving new business across key industries.
Maintain a strong presence in the field, meeting customers and partners, supporting reps on high‑value deals, and building deep relationships with key accounts.
Own team performance against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Guide Enterprise AEs in building and executing account strategies to uncover, develop, and close complex opportunities.
Partner with Channel Development and local integrators/resellers to strengthen Verkada’s presence and pipeline across Australia.
Drive disciplined pipeline management through weekly one‑on‑ones, team reviews, and regular forecast sessions.
Actively participate in key deals, leading executive‑level conversations, assisting in negotiations, and supporting complex closings.
Foster a high‑performance culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Enterprise Development, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Enablement teams to optimise regional execution.
Recruit, onboard, and develop top enterprise sales talent in partnership with Verkada’s in‑house recruiting and enablement teams.
This role requires regular travel, including both domestic and international destinations as needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel to support business operations, customer and partner engagements and team collaboration.
What You Bring
5‑10+ years of experience leading a high‑performing enterprise sales team in a complex technology environment.
Proven success driving greenfield growth and closing large, strategic enterprise deals.
Strong experience navigating long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, ideally within government or public sector accounts.
Background selling physical security, SaaS, or IT/network infrastructure solutions highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and through channel partners.
Deep understanding and practical application of MEDDPICC or similar enterprise sales methodologies.
Exceptional communication, executive presence, and strategic thinking skills.
A hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves leadership style comfortable selling alongside your team in the field.
Highly driven, intellectually curious, and thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Why are you being asked to complete this form? We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities.
