Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly experienced and capable Senior Lawyer to join our team and lead across a range of complex matters. The Role

This is an associate lawyer position suited to an accomplished litigation lawyer with a strong background in civil and commercial law. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of matters and delivering high quality legal services to a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities

Manage a range of complex civil and commercial litigation matters from initial instructions through to final resolution Draft pleadings, court documents, legal correspondence, and written advice to a high standard Conduct negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences Appear in court (independently or with counsel) across various jurisdictions Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to clients in a timely and effective manner Supervise, mentor, and support junior legal staff and paralegals Maintain compliance with applicable court rules and electronic filing procedures Develop and nurture strong client relationships and assist with business development initiatives Candidate Requirements

Admitted as a solicitor in Australia with a current unrestricted practising certificate 2-5 years post admission experience (PAE) in general civil and commercial litigation Strong technical knowledge civil procedures Experience in insurance litigation, particularly recoveries, motor claims, demurrage, or property damage, is highly regarded Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills Demonstrated commercial acumen with a client centric mindset High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to professional excellence If you are a motivated and a detail oriented professional looking to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.
