They operate a unique production research facility to coordinate internal and external research trials that merge trial experimentation with modern farming practices. About the Role

Working closely with the Agribusiness and Grower Services management team, you will lead an established and well resourced farming team. You will be responsible for overseeing all field activities, including planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvest and grading, whilst being a point of communication for a number of stakeholders within the business as well as external stakeholders. You will ensure best practice farming operations are adhered to on the property and will manage and facilitate regular visits and practical exhibits as part of their research programs. You will be given access to industry leading precision agriculture tools, and automated irrigation systems whilst driving a best practice mentality around farming methods and water use. The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience managing and leading a team on an irrigated cropping enterprise. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable speaking to a number of contracting services. You will have strong problem solving skills and be safety focused.
