Strong background in AD, Windows Server, M365 & Citrix Sydney CBD Permanent Full time 5 days in office Up to $150,000 + Super + Bonus About the role: Leading financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role is suited to someone with deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, a strong background in financial markets or investment banking, and a passion for designing and maintaining secure, resilient systems. As part of the infrastructure team, you’ll play a key role in supporting business-critical systems and ensuring technology services run seamlessly. Working closely with senior engineers and stakeholders across the business, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality support, troubleshooting, and contributing to infrastructure projects. What's a typical day look like? Provide Level 3 support and advanced troubleshooting across server infrastructure. Maintain core platforms including Active Directory, Citrix, SQL Server, M365, and hybrid cloud environments. Deliver system upgrades, patching, hardware replacement, and software deployment. Document processes and procedures to support continuity and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organisational standards. Contribute technical expertise to infrastructure-related projects and initiatives. About You: 6+ years in senior infrastructure roles (with a degree in computer science or equivalent). Extensive knowledge of Active Directory (Group Policy, Sites and Services, Certification Authority, and PowerShell). Experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions including AD, file shares, Azure/M365, and server permissions with best practice security and redundancy. Strong background in hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS) and SaaS integrations. Expertise with Windows Server, Entra ID, M365, Citrix VDI, Intune, SCCM, and app packaging. Familiarity with Mimecast, Papercut, and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys is an advantage.
