About the Role
To support and assist the Clinical Service Director of Anaesthesia and Heads of Units, in the provision of high quality anaesthetic services across Monash Health sites, consistent with Monash Health values.
Provide clinical leadership through active involvement in patient care.
Be available to medical colleagues for consultation and liaison as appropriate regarding patient care.
Support academic, research, education, training & supervision (both undergraduate and postgraduate) roles in the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Monash Health.
Contribute to the professional and corporate life in Victoria's largest public health service by participation in appropriate committees and educational platforms.
Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical and workforce innovation to ensure Monash Health provides high quality accessible anaesthetic services

About You – What You Need
Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
Experience in clinical quality assurance and improvement process is required.
For full Paediatric scope of practice recognition, a 12 month fellowship in a recognised tertiary Paediatric hospital is required.
A valid Employee Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for all medical staff at Monash Health.
