About The Role
Seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Brisbane based team. The ideal candidate will have a background in process plant design across gold and/or base metals as well as demonstrated success in the delivery of studies and projects. Strong discipline engineers will also be considered. Reporting to the Process Department Manager, you will be leading or working with a highly experienced team and will be exposed to a continuous succession of small to large domestic and possibly international projects as they progress through the project lifestyle from early concept development, detailed design, construction and commissioning to operations.
Responsibilities
Lead or support the engineering deliverables for preliminary and detailed design studies and projects
Lead or support the engineering team in delivery of projects and studies
Provide input and support for business development processes
Establish and maintain strong client relationships
Technical ownership of discipline deliverables for the scope, including ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, codes, specifications and industry standards and designs
Qualifications
Degree qualification in relevant field
RPEQ Membership
Proven experience in process design across gold, base metals
Strong knowledge across Minerals Processing
Hydrometallurgy experience will be advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Experience using Metsim®, SysCAD or similar
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadline
