Salary: AUD 212,505 – 246,693 Annual Gross

Role Description:
We seek an experienced technology leader who can serve as a trusted advisor, guiding large‑scale software engineering initiatives, AI integration, and platform modernization strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing technology strategies across cloud‑native platforms, modular architectures, and intelligent automation, ensuring that business goals are translated into robust, scalable engineering solutions. This position serves as a vital link between client executive teams and Infosys’ engineering, AI, and platform resources, helping to shape advanced digital platforms and modern software ecosystems. Experience in the telecommunications sector is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Platform Modernization Leadership
Define and own enterprise modernization roadmaps focused on legacy transformation to cloud‑native, microservices‑based, API‑first platforms
Drive platform thinking—designing modular, reusable, product‑centric architectures that scale across business domains
Guide clients through legacy decomposition, re‑architecture, and modernization, including OSS/BSS and network‑adjacent platforms where applicable
Align Infosys platforms, accelerators, and engineering practices to measurable business outcomes
Software Engineering Excellence
Establish engineering best practices across:
Cloud‑native development
CI/CD and DevSecOps
Automated testing and quality engineering
Reliability, scalability, and performance engineering
Drive adoption of modern engineering operating models (product‑aligned teams, platform teams, inner‑source)
Lead large‑scale engineering transformations in complex, multi‑vendor environments
AI, Data & Intelligent Automation
Introduce and scale Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics across platforms and operations
Embed AI into core systems
Drive data‑centric architectures and analytics‑driven product design
Ensure responsible AI adoption aligned to enterprise security, governance, and risk standards
Cloud‑Native & Platform Architecture
Champion API‑first, event‑driven, and microservices architectures
Enable hybrid and multi‑cloud strategies with strong security, observability, and resilience foundations
Guide modernization of mission‑critical platforms
Promote platform‑as‑a‑product and reusable engineering assets
Executive & Client Advisory
Serve as primary technology advisor to senior client stakeholders and C‑suite executives
Communicate technology strategy, progress, risks, and innovation opportunities in executive‑ready language
Essential:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
15+ years of technology leadership experience across:
Enterprise software engineering
Platform and legacy modernization
Cloud and AI‑driven transformation initiatives
Demonstrated success in client‑facing technology advisory roles
Experience operating in complex, multi‑vendor, global delivery environments
Preferred:
Telecom domain experience, particularly with OSS/BSS platforms and Service assurance systems
Platform‑based business models and product‑led engineering transformations
