The Opportunity Due to the ongoing success of our Australian operations, our Melbourne Transport team have a need for additional Roads / Highways / Civil Designer capability. We are inviting applicants for several roles that will be tailored to the candidates at the levels of Senior or Principal Technologist / Engineer. Your responsibilities will include: Complete road and civil design development – with a strong focus on development and delivery of a complete integrated object-based model production using OpenRoads Integration with multi-disciplinary modelling processes, including digital engineering management processes Participation in safety in design assessment and review processes Technical review and supervision of less experienced designers and engineers as required Your background, skills and experience should include: Demonstrated experience in 2D functional design, and 3D road and civil modelling, for arterial roads and freeways – including roundabouts, signalised intersections, and freeway interchange designs OpenRoads experience is highly desirable; other software experience may be considered Recent application of the current Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), AustRoads and PTV guidelines on major projects is necessary Experienced in the use of ProjectWise for the management of design models and documentation Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification) We welcome candidates considering part-time or other flexible working arrangements in our team.
