As the Head of Organisational Effectiveness, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Capricorn’s future. Sitting within the People & Experience function, this strategic leadership position partners closely with the Executive team, People & Experience leaders, and key stakeholders to design and deliver initiatives that enable our long‑term vision. You’ll lead the organisational change management function, ensuring seamless execution of major people & organisational initiatives and embedding change that sticks. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for a change leader who thrives in complexity and is passionate about building a better workplace. You’ll also bring strategic thinking to lead design and implementation of major people, workforce planning and cultural initiatives that will ensure that Capricorn continues to meet growth and strategic outcomes for our Members and Community. Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

Deep understanding of change management models and frameworks that drive sustainable change. Strong understanding of workforce planning and aligning workforce to strategic outcomes, including consideration of the integration of digital workforce. Ability to design cultural enablers and support the future of Capricorn, driving overall effectiveness and engagement of the Capricorn Team. Exceptional influencing and communication skills across all levels—from frontline to executive. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives from concept to delivery. Solid grasp of HR principles, legislation, and best practices. Strong written and verbal communication, with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Resilience, adaptability, and a hands‑on approach when needed. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within tight timeframes. Experience

Minimum 5 years leading internal or external consultancy programs, with a strong track record in delivering impactful HR initiatives. Experience navigating complex organisations and managing diverse deliverables. Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related commercial discipline. Change management certifications (e.g. PROSCI) highly desirable. Facilitation credentials such as Hogans, Korn Ferry, LSI or similar are a plus. A little on life at Capricorn
