About Monash Imaging Monash Imaging incorporates services at Monash Medical Centre – Clayton; Monash Children’s Hospital Clayton; Victorian Heart Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Dandenong; Casey Hospital, Berwick; Moorabbin Hospital, Bentleigh East; Kingston Centre, Cheltenham; Pakenham Health Centre (Women’s Imaging), Pakenham and two Dental sites at Cranbourne and Dandenong.

Monash Imaging provides over 365,000 imaging examinations per year across all sites.

Monash Imaging is a busy, multi‑modality department providing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to the outer southeast region of Melbourne and West Gippsland for adult and paediatric patients. About the Role Monash Imaging is seeking an enthusiastic

Part Time - Medical Administrative Officer

working in school hours to join the Administration team to support high‑level patient‑centred care.

Responsibilities

Provide high‑level customer service to patients in a variety of settings.

Reception: meet and greet patients and their families.

Operate phone system and make appointments for internal and external patients according to their medical needs.

Deliver exceptional customer service in a busy, team‑based environment.

Work on a rotational roster.

About You You are passionate about helping others, especially in a challenging situation, and you are driven to provide exceptional support to our patients and their families. As the first point of contact for many patients, a welcoming manner with clear communication skills combined with empathy and patience is essential.

What You Bring

Previous experience in radiology or medical administration is an advantage.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to remain calm and helpful in a challenging or changing environment.

Attention to detail coupled with ability to prioritise competing tasks and deadlines.

Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.

Hardworking, passionate, proactive dedicated work ethic.

Flexible, adaptable, and inclusive team member.

Ability to learn new computer software with ease.

What You Need

Effective time management skills including planning and organisational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.

Exceptional attention to detail.
