$200,000 - $210,000 including super + a bonus

How often do you get an opportunity to shape the way platform engineering is done at an Enterprise, at scale?

I’d say not too often.

This enterprise is looking to change the way they build and deliver code and the team of 15 that you will be managing are building the platforms and developer experience to improve on that. Within this role you will be influencing how teams work, uplifting capability, and setting the strategy for developer experience and platform engineering.

Specifically, looking at things like local development environments, self‑service capabilities, automating onboarding and more.

You can be based in Brisbane or Sydney for this role and it’s a hybrid working environment (3 days in the Office & 2 working from home).

What you’ll do:

Lead, mentor, and grow your team while shaping workforce capability

Influence platform strategy, DevEx improvements, and modernisation programs

Collaborate across Product, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams

Promote innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvements

Who you are

Experienced in DevOps, Platform or systems leadership

Comfortable guiding teams through change and uplift

Strong influencer with excellent stakeholder skills

Knowledgeable in engineering practices – CI/CD, cloud‑native, SaaS platforms, automation
