Group Legal Counsel

St. Leger Brockman has partnered with a large, multi-disciplinary group to appoint a lead lawyer to support its largest subsidiary. You will work directly with an exceptional Group General Counsel, operating with a high degree of autonomy while having access to strategic guidance and mentorship at the highest level. Key responsibilities: Lead legal support for the largest entity within the Group, as well as providing support to other subsidiaries across construction, property, and healthcare Advise on regulatory compliance and governance Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements Provide pragmatic advice to senior operational leaders Oversee external counsel and manage risk commercially We are seeking a lawyer who combines regulatory depth with commercial nous. A "doer" who rolls up their sleeves and keeps things moving. 5–10 years PQE Strong training in a reputable law firm and/ or in-house legal team Confident operating independently Calm, measured and solutions-focused In-house experience is advantageous but not essential, strong commercial instincts are non-negotiable Experience in healthcare, aged care, retirement villages, hospitals or other highly regulated sectors would give you a distinct advantage Why Consider It?
