We are a WA owned and operated electrical wholesale business supplying electrical goods across a wide variety of industries, having grown over the past 10 years. We are now gearing up for a new significant growth phase and so looking for quality people.
This is a role for a high-calibre, entrepreneurial sales leader who wants real autonomy, enjoys being on the front foot with customers, and knows how to build profitable growth — not just volume.
The Opportunity
As Branch Manager, you’ll lead the sales function (people + performance), drive pricing and quoting discipline, and be the senior technical escalation point for the branch.
You’ll set standards, set pace, and lead from the front to lift service, win key accounts, and grow market share.
You’ll be supported by the GM, but trusted with the space to run the branch like it’s your own — with clear targets and the backing to achieve them.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead and manage the sales function with a strong focus on execution and performance
Grow key accounts and win new business through disciplined prospecting and relationship building
Build trust-based customer relationships and lift customer experience end-to-end
Margin, pricing & quoting discipline
Drive margin protection, pricing discipline, and quoting quality (commercial and technical)
Improve internal sales execution and follow-through from quote to after-sales support
Technical leadership
Provide technical leadership and escalation support for customers and the team
Resolve issues calmly and effectively when things get complex or time-critical
People
Lead, develop and motivate the team, including recruitment and performance management as needed
Own sales reporting, CRM discipline, and sales process improvements
What We’re Looking For (High Bar)
You’ll be a proven sales manager who can sell, lead, and lift standards — with the commercial backbone to run a profitable branch.
Mandatory requirements
Proven sales track record in the WA electrical sector with strong closing ability
Demonstrated pricing/quoting discipline and margin management (not volume-at-any-cost)
Strong technical knowledge across electrical products and applications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Analytical, solutions-focused, and effective under pressure
Driver’s licence + full Australian work rights
Ideal background (highly regarded)
Electrical wholesale / distribution leadership experience
Comfortable being hands‑on: quoting, customer visits, coaching, supplier discussions, and clearing roadblocks
