About the Role
Provide day‑to‑day leadership on the floor, setting expectations, running shift rhythms and keeping teams focused, productive and engaged
Build a safe, disciplined operating environment through visible leadership, clear routines and consistent accountability
Develop leaders at all levels by coaching supervisors, supporting operators and managing performance when required
Own and interpret operational KPIs including safety, productivity, efficiency, throughput, customer outcomes and workforce stability
Use existing systems and technology to drive performance and decision‑making, while implementing improvements that reduce downtime, protect assets and strengthen operational control.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste and improving how work moves through the operation
Ensure consistent senior presence during operating hours by coordinating leadership coverage across shifts
Work closely with the owners and leadership team to translate strategy into operational execution and support the next phase of growth
About You
You love being on the floor and in the middle of the action. You’re not interested in watching from the sidelines or managing through meetings—you’re energised by pace, problem‑solving and rolling your sleeves up to make things happen every day.
You’re a strong executor who enjoys turning decisions into action and seeing work through to completion. You bring structure, momentum and accountability to your role, supporting high standards and helping the team stay focused on getting the right outcomes, the right way.
You’re comfortable leading large, diverse teams and understand how to get the best out of people through clarity, consistency and trust. People matter to you—you know that performance follows strong leadership, not the other way around.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
Leadership experience in a production, processing, manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment – or similar
A hands‑on leadership style and a genuine desire to spend most of your time on the floor
Confidence interpreting operational KPIs and using data to drive decisions
