If the answer is YES, the Sydney office of ACIL Allen is looking for a dynamic Economics Senior Consultant like yourself to join our growing team.
About the role
As an Economics Senior Consultant in our Sydney Office, you will work across the full breadth of ACIL Allen’s advisory portfolio, including:
developing methodologies and proposals
collecting, analysing and interpreting information
managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery
contributing to thought leadership in economics and public policy
conducting research, writing reports, and engaging with stakeholders.
At ACIL Allen, consultants are involved in the full lifecycle of a client engagement, from scoping work and developing methodologies through to presenting final reports and advice. From day one, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your advisory capabilities by applying your skills and background to complex, challenging and high-profile engagements.
About you
To be considered for this position, you must:
be a skilled and experienced economist with a passion for delivering high-quality public policy advice to government and industry
be motivated to contribute to the growth and success of our Sydney economics practice, supporting senior colleagues and leading by example
possess strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with economic, financial or other data to generate unique and actionable insights
have the capability to communicate the insights clearly and persuasively, both in written reports and in dialogue with current and prospective clients and stakeholders
thrive working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
have the ability to work effectively across different industry sectors and parts of our advisory practice
inspire and mentor junior consultants, contributing to their growth and development
About your qualifications and skills
4+ years’ experience in economics and/or public policy within a consulting, government, private sector, or advisory context.
Tertiary qualification in a quantitative or economics-based discipline (such as Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, or Finance).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in other analytical tools desirable.
