A major organisation undergoing significant digital uplift is seeking a
Technology Strategy & Advisory Lead
to shape future‑state technology direction, build strategic roadmaps, and guide senior leaders through key investment and transformation decisions. This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s technology function, partnering closely with executives to define how technology enables long‑term commercial and operational success. Ideal for someone coming from a
technology consulting, strategy, enterprise architecture or transformation advisory background , who thrives in complex environments and enjoys influencing top‑level decision making.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and refinement of enterprise technology strategy and multi‑year roadmaps.
Partner with domain leaders to design future‑state architectures and capability blueprints aligned to business goals.
Drive strategic decision‑making frameworks, evaluating risks, opportunities and investment priorities.
Produce executive‑level presentations, strategic papers and clear narratives that support technology investment and prioritisation.
Provide high‑impact advisory support to technology leadership, shaping the direction of major initiatives.
Lead operating model optimisation and technology transformation initiatives to improve delivery, performance and value.
Identify commercial, vendor and performance optimisation opportunities across the technology landscape.
Coach and mentor team members while building strong relationships across senior technology and business stakeholders.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
7–10+ years’ experience in
technology strategy, consulting, enterprise advisory or similar strategic roles .
A strong track record developing
technology strategies, roadmaps and blueprints
in complex organisations.
Proven ability to influence executives, simplify complexity and drive strategic clarity.
Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving capability.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to craft compelling executive presentations and business cases.
Experience in operating model design, transformation delivery or continuous improvement programs.
A solid understanding of technology trends, digital platforms, emerging tech and enterprise technology environments.
Those with
Big 4 or top‑tier consulting experience
will be particularly well positioned for success.
