Senior Signal Design Engineer

Overview We are currently recruiting a Senior Signal Design Engineer to work on several rail projects throughout the Queensland freight rail network. You will work for an established and quickly growing design consultancy, specialising in transport infrastructure projects.

Microstation experience is necessary for this position.

Location: Brisbane, QLD (3 days office – 2 days WFH)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 + Super

Responsibilities

Provide a range of technical consulting services to clients across the signalling discipline

Design, verify and review signal designs including signal arrangements, control tables, circuits, interlocking

Develop engineering plans to support delivery of rail projects

Ensure client relationships are maintained by providing efficient and professional expertise related to signalling projects

Effective communication and stakeholder engagements with direct, and indirect clients and team members

Leverage your experience to identify new opportunities for the business, forging partnerships with various stakeholders

Show a willingness and ability to assist across various disciplines and scopes of work

Required Experience

Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Mechatronics (or similar)

Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a signal design role

Microlok experience: RPEQ is not required, but eligibility is (not immediate) e.g. Recognised and relevant Degree

Australian Working Rights – PR, Citizen or current visa
