Your new role
Role
This is a full‑time position based in Hobart, TAS. As a Principal Psychologist at PeopleSense by Altius you will lead a team of psychologists who deliver a range of clinical and organisational‑psychology focused services. Your role includes the following:
Team leadership
Oversee a small team of provisional, registered and clinical psychologists.
Provide guidance, support and mentorship, assisting in performance management, career progression and business operations.
Clinical expertship
Facilitate and participate in clinical supervision of client caseloads as needed, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered.
Undertake quality‑assurance activities to maintain and improve service‑delivery excellence.
Psychological service delivery
Provide psychological services to a caseload of clients and customers by delivering evidence‑based interventions and therapeutic support, including:
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) counselling – offering services to adults, children, adolescents and couples.
On‑site and critical‑incident attendance – support people at their workplace.
Private/Medicare‑rebated counselling.
Compensation scheme work – support clients with pain‑related issues, injury adjustment and trauma from an acquired injury.
Multidisciplinary interventions – work in a multidisciplinary team to support client outcomes.
Psychological assessment.
About you
Psychologist with full registration with AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Experience leading a team and supporting psychologists is essential.
Full Australian working rights.
Ability to obtain a national police check.
A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
