Security Platform Engineer

The Role

You will sit within the Security Engineering team and be responsible for developing and maintaining the platforms used to deliver services such as threat detection, monitoring, response, and identity security for large enterprise environments. You’ll work closely with detection engineers, cloud engineers, and SOC teams to ensure security tooling is scalable, reliable, and automated. This role suits someone who enjoys engineering-first security and wants exposure to complex, multi-client enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain security platforms across cloud and on-prem environments Engineer and support SIEM, SOAR, and detection platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, etc.) Develop automation for security workflows using Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or similar Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for security tooling Integrate security platforms with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Partner with SOC and detection teams to improve reliability and performance of platforms Contribute to platform architecture, monitoring, and operational excellence What We’re Looking For

Core experience 3+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering Strong experience with at least one major SIEM platform Solid cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Nice to have Kubernetes / container security exposure Experience working in an MSSP or enterprise SOC environment Knowledge of Zero Trust or IAM platforms What you need to do
