We are currently working with a large health centre owned and operated by the University of Melbourne that is presently looking for a new GP to join their urgent care team.

The health clinic is located in Shepperton, Victoria.

With urgent care on offer, this is a great opportunity if you are looking to treat category 4 or 5 patients in a country lifestyle environment.

Remuneration

$250 per hour - Monday to Friday

$275 per hour - Saturday and Sunday

Dates available

Ongoing permanent role

Friday, Saturday and Sunday

3 days per week

Accommodation provided if needed

About the role

You will be providing short term, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening. (Cat 4 & 5)

These include: Minor illnesses (including respiratory illness, gastrointestinal illness, UTIs and STIs)

Minor injuries including closed fractures, simple lacerations, and minor burns

Highly skilled nurse to triage patients and assist the GP with procedures/plastering/treatment etc where required.

Reception staff to manage patient check ins

Anything else required with the role

Requirements

Specialist Registration with AHPRA

Fellowship with RACGP / ACRRM

Urgent Care or ED experience (Preferred)

ALS2 (Preferred)
