Dentist

We are very excited to be able to offer a part‑time position to a special dentist who has extremely high standards in clinical work, has excellent communication with staff and patients, and shares the same vision and philosophy as our practice.

If you have a minimum of 3 years experience, and are an enthusiastic, driven, team focused, technologically orientated, a kind and caring individual, we would love to have you as part of our team at our modern digital dental clinic located in Wantirna South.

This position is for three days per week (24.75 hours) on the following days:

7.45 am to 5pm on Mondays

9.45 am to 7 pm on Thursdays

7.45 am to 5 pm on Saturdays

Please note that initial hours/days may differ slightly in the interim during the training phase. This will be discussed further in the interview.

This position is suited to an applicant who has:

good observation skills and diagnostic experience encompassing several fields of dentistry;

good interpersonal skills and communication techniques between staff and with patients;

strong clinical procedural skills, particularly in a special area of dentistry;

good computer skills, as most processes are digitised;

ability to align to practice philosophy and follow practice procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

Qualification from Australia or New Zealand, and recognised by the Dental Board of Australia

Additional qualifications (e.g. Graduate Diploma, Masters, Doctorate) will be looked upon very highly.

Applicants keen on pursuing further education would be strongly encouraged.

Preferred Skills / Experience

Previous use of EXACT practice management software

Previous use of digital scanners

Good understanding of Prime Practice communication techniques

Clinical skills in a special area of interest (e.g. prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, etc.)
