About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator/Quality Auditor to assist and oversee our estimating operations, by providing quality assurance across multiple areas. This is a hands‑on role, where you'll be the bridge between the estimating and site supervision teams, ensuring robust quality systems are established, maintained, and continuously improved.
You will play a key role in aligning estimating practices with the company's broader strategic objectives, driving accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Estimators to implement and uphold best‑practice quality systems
Review and refine estimating processes to ensure alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards
Audit estimates prior to submission and provide improvements & training to the individuals
Monitor and report on non‑conformances, providing actionable feedback to project teams
Contribute to and evaluate performance documentation, including KPIs and reporting metrics
Support continuous improvement by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimisation
What We're Looking For:
Demonstrated experience in Estimating and/or Quality Auditing within the Construction industry
Prior Large Loss insurance estimating experience
Strong knowledge of Construction methodologies and terminology
Qualifications in Building, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a trade background (highly regarded)
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with AUS Standards relevant to construction
Additional Requirements:
Valid Australian Drivers Licence
Must have full working rights in Australia
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a police check and pre‑employment medical assessment
